Purpose

CCBE Bylaws define the internal structure of the organization for all to see instead of relying on the memories of founders or long-time members, governance and other policy decisions can be made based on a concrete document. Bylaws provide a broad administrative framework within which the objectives of CCBE may be achieved. All business of CCBE shall be conducted in accordance with the Bylaws.

The Bylaws Committee consists of two to three members selected by the CCBE President to serve for one year. The committee reviews the CCBE bylaws and standing rules and submits recommendations for amendments to the Executive Committee and Board of Directors for approval.
