CCBE Exemplary Awards Program – “Apple of Excellence”

CCBE has established the “Apple for Excellence” award and recognizes outstanding programs administered by county offices of education reflecting the depth and breadth of a county education program necessary to address students’ changing needs, identifying exemplary programs, and serve to share information about effective educational strategies with other county offices of education throughout the state.  Working in collaboration with CSBA’s Golden Bell Awards program, CCBE presents the winning program of the Golden Bell Award County Office of Education category with the “Apple for Excellence” award during the Golden Bell Award Luncheon in December.  This also allows CCBE to express appreciation to the dedicated educators in our county offices who strive to provide high-quality education with cutting-edge innovation.

Every year, an entry form is sent to all county offices and districts encouraging them to nominate projects and/or programs from their county for consideration. To learn more about this award program, please visit CSBA’s website here.
