CSBA’s Finance Corporation proudly offers STEP, a comprehensive energy efficiency program, to deliver high impact improvements to districts and county offices.
Energy efficiency measures can save your school district or county office of education money and resources .
In addition to the significant financial benefit, participating districts and county offices of education can expect more comfortable learning environments that enhance education, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and establish community support for environmental and social responsibility.

Cost effective
We help you secure funding through a combination of incentive rebates, low-cost bonds and potential grants. Many participants find they are cash-flow positive upon the completion of the project.
Energy retrofitting and replacement
Participants will receive a preliminary assessment to evaluate the most cost-effective improvements.
Targeted efficiency measures
Selected measures provide significant energy savings, environmental benefits and may qualify for incentive and grant funding.
Turnkey program
CSBA builds strong partnerships to help you execute successful energy efficiency programs that include energy analysis, project development, engineering, project management and funding.
