Annual General Membership Meeting

The CCBE Annual General Membership meeting is scheduled this year on Friday, Nov. 30 at the Westin St. Francisco hotel in San Francisco from 8:30 a.m. - noon. General Membership packets will be mailed to all CCBE member county boards the first week of November. All county board members and superintendents are invited to attend this meeting.

The CCBE General Membership is comprised of county member boards that have paid in full their annual CSBA and CCBE membership dues. The General Membership is responsible for the governance of the organization including initiating, reviewing, amending and adopting bylaws, policies, goal, objectives and resolutions of CCBE, as well as electing officers and the nominating committee. It is very important that representatives (one from each county selected by CCBE members in that county) attend CCBE meetings so that the business of the association can occur. Each member board shall select one of its members to be the board representative to vote at CCBE General Membership meetings and submit the following county board representative form two weeks prior to the meeting. Any member of a county board may attend, initiate action or participate in debate and discussion at these meetings but only the representatives may vote.

The registration fee to attend the CCBE General Membership breakfast is $45. You must register for the CSBA Annual Education Conference before registering for the CCBE General Membership breakfast. CCBE member county boards are eligible to register for the one-day registration fee of $250.
